is an international photo-based storyteller, researcher and documentarian. His work focuses primarily on land use and socio-cultural occupancy of it as political action. Through research, photography, video, and sound Philip is interested in exploring and understanding community organization as a means of communicating and influencing public policy.
Born in Canada, raised in Poland, and grown in in Singapore, Philip is currently living and working freelance in Toronto. From fine art photography to photojournalism, video production to creative direction, public speaking to community engagement he is constantly striving to embed and expand the role of contemporary storytelling into his practice as well as research.
Philip was a recipient of the Magnum photo book scholarship, holds a Honours Specialist B.A. in International Development and B.A in New Media from University of Toronto as well as MFA in Documentary Media from Ryerson University's School of Image Arts.
