Philip is an international photo-based storyteller, researcher and documentarian. His work focuses primarily on land use and socio-cultural occupancy of it as political action. Through research, photography, video, and sound Philip is interested in exploring and understanding community organization as a means of communicating and influencing public policy.

Born in Canada, raised in Poland, and grown in Singapore, Philip is currently living and working in Toronto. From fine art photography to photojournalism, video production to creative direction, public speaking to community engagement Philip is constantly striving to embed and expand the role of contemporary storytelling into his practice as well as research.

Philip has worked extensively in the spectrum of culture, art, and politic, grounding himself as researcher/ practitioner with focus on expressive production and rigorous investigation processes. With a background in International Development and New Media his work is underlined by his commitment to witness and explore the under-documented and marginalized. Philips work goes beyond the actual image and into engaging discourse at public and private institutions where he speaks and writes on the importance of documentary media and use of it as socio-political mobilization.
